Speed Up Your MAG Development with the New “Create 1:1 Mappings” Feature
When working with Mapping Guidelines (MAGs) in SAP Integration Suite, a common challenge is creating mappings between source and target structures that are identical - manually mapping each field can be repetitive and time-consuming, especially for large documents. Fortunately, SAP has introduced the Create 1:1 Mappings feature to significantly improve this task.
The Create 1:1 Mappings option automatically generates mapping elements for matching nodes within selected source and target nodes. Instead of mapping each node individually, Integration Advisor identifies nodes with the same structure and creates the mappings for you.
All you need to do is select the group node in the Source MIG, map it to the matching group node in the Target Node, and select Create 1:1 Mappings.
Integration Advisor will map the corresponding child nodes of the selected group node.
For me, the Create 1:1 Mappings feature is a small enhancement with a big impact. It saved me a lot of time when creating 1-1 mappings, and the result was exactly as expected. I think any tool that saves time in the creation of mappings is valuable.
